How do I book a tour?
Choose an experience, select your date and time, and complete the secure online checkout. You will receive confirmation by email. For tailored itineraries, cruise visits, larger groups or transfers, contact us by WhatsApp or email and we will help plan the right option.
Are the tours private?
Yes. Your vehicle and guide are reserved for your group. The exact capacity and minimum booking are shown on each experience page. Larger groups are welcome and can travel together using multiple vehicles.
What languages do the guides speak?
Our local guides lead tours in English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Select your preferred language during booking so we can match your group with the right guide.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the tour. If your plans change, contact us as soon as possible and we will help move your booking to another available date or time.
What happens if it rains?
Porto can still be enjoyed comfortably on a rainy day. Our tuk-tuks have rain covers, and we provide rain ponchos and warm blankets, making the experience a comfortable alternative to a walking tour. If severe weather makes a tour unsafe, our team will contact you to arrange the best solution.
Where is the standard meeting point?
The standard meeting point is the Statue of Vímara Peres, beside Porto Cathedral. Your confirmation email will include the meeting-point information.
Is hotel pickup included?
Pickup from hotels in Porto’s historic centre and nearby areas is complimentary. If the requested location is more than approximately 10 minutes from the historic centre, an additional pickup charge may apply because the guide must travel to collect the group and return to the tour area. We always confirm any charge with you in advance. Enter the requested pickup address when booking or contact us on WhatsApp if you are unsure.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult and count towards the group size. If you are travelling with very young children, contact us before booking so we can confirm the most suitable arrangement.
How long are the tours?
Choose anything from our focused 30-minute Porto Express and one-hour city tour to a flexible six-to-seven-hour full-day experience. Explore all tours and experiences to find the right pace for your visit.
Are the tuk-tuks electric?
Yes. Our tuk-tuks are electric, quiet and emission-free, offering a comfortable way to explore Porto’s hills and historic streets.
Can you organise other activities?
Yes. Through trusted local partners, we can help combine your private tour with wine tastings, a Six Bridges river cruise, museum visits, lunch, dinner or other activities. Tell us what your group enjoys and how much time you have, and we can suggest a tailored itinerary.
Can you plan a visit around a cruise schedule?
Yes. If you are visiting Porto during a cruise stop, send us the ship name, arrival and departure times, group size and preferred tour duration. We can recommend an itinerary designed around the time available. Any pickup outside central Porto is confirmed separately, including any applicable transfer charge.
How do I pay?
Online payments are processed securely by Stripe. The available express-payment options depend on your device and browser, and card payment is always available. Invictuk Tours does not store your full card details.
