Personal data we collect
Contact forms. When you use our contact form or subscribe to our newsletter we collect your name, email address and the message you send us, so that we can reply to your enquiry.
Bookings and payments. When you book a tour we collect the booking details (tour, date, number of participants) and billing information needed to process your order. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never store your full card details. See the Stripe Privacy Policy for details.
Cookies and analytics. We use Google Analytics (via Site Kit) to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, device type, approximate location). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We also use caching cookies for site performance and the GTranslate service to translate the site. Our WhatsApp chat button opens WhatsApp, which is subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
Why we process your data
We process personal data to reply to your enquiries, to manage and fulfil your bookings (performance of a contract), to comply with invoicing and accounting obligations (legal obligation), to send you offers if you have subscribed (consent, which you can withdraw at any time), and to keep the website secure and fast (legitimate interest).
How long we keep your data
Enquiries are kept for up to two years. Booking and invoicing records are kept for the periods required by Portuguese law. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who we share your data with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run this website and process your bookings: Stripe (payments), Hostinger (hosting) and Google (analytics). We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time.
